Who We Are
Nimukama Mixed Farm is commercial farming done sustainably and in conformance to modern agricultural practices. Established in March 2010, it has grown from virtually a start-up to fully established farm with even greater promises to grow into a larger group of commercial farms in the foreseeable future.
We are located in Kyankwanzi District in Central Uganda in Butemba County and within the reknown ‘cattle corridor’ of Uganda.
Our business is to provide healthy animal and crop products that are organically grown following viable and best practices in farming. To achieve this, Nimukama Mixed Farm engages in cattle and goat farming for meat and milk, goat keeping, and poultry. We will also grow bananas for commercial consumption.
On top of all this, we add unmatched dog breeding and training of guard and protection dogs

We aim to be a leading commercial farming firm in Uganda using best practices in animal and crop husbandry to grow and provide for the Ugandan and regional markets good beef, poultry, and banana products among others at competitive prices while embracing and harnessing the talents, energies, and commitment of our farm staff. What is the difference between a standard and an executive-level trained dog?
A standard level dog is trained on and off leash in obedience and on lead in protection work; an executive level dog is trained on and off leash in both obedience and protection work, trained for weapon attack (guns, knives, etc.) and also to deal with multiple assailants.
How long does it take for my new dog to bond with me?
How do I maintain my dog's training?
I have children, are dogs safe around kids?
Our dogs are chosen for their temperament, as many of them go to live with families with young children. We need to be 100% certain when placing a dog that will be around children; therefore we would only suggest dogs that we know would fit this criteria.
